Waveform

Privacy Policy

How Waveform handles your audio, saved projects, and browser preferences.

Audio processing

The current Waveform editor imports, edits, mixes, and exports audio on your device. It does not upload your audio files to an audio-processing server.

Data stored in your browser

When you save a project, Waveform stores project information and source audio in IndexedDB in your browser. Appearance preferences are stored in local storage. Saved work is tied to this browser and device; it is not a cloud backup.

Managing your data

You can remove saved projects using the editor’s project controls or clear this website’s data in your browser settings. Clearing site data removes locally saved projects and preferences. Export any audio you want to keep first.

Website delivery

Your browser requests website files from the hosting provider when you visit. These requests include technical information such as your IP address and browser headers. Hosting logs and retention depend on the provider used for the deployed website.

Accounts and tracking

The current editor does not require an account. This website’s source does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts.

Changes and questions

This policy describes the current editor and may change as features are added. For privacy questions, visit our Contact Us page.
